A momentous day at the ballpark for the hometown nine. New stadium opens and is packed to the rafters.
The Twins move to 6-2. Rauch has five saves in those six wins. Starting pitching has been close to perfect. Morneau has shaken off his bad spring. J. J. Hardy has been awesome both in the field and at the dish. We could go on and on.
Can’t wait to see how it all plays out, but so far, so very good.
